The Marian Academy of Aparecida (SP) is headquartered in the National Sanctuary of Our Lady of Immaculate Conception of Aparecida.

The Marian Academy’s purpose is to promote the theoretical and practical development of the devotion to the Patroness of Brazil, through theological, evangelizing and pastoral knowledge, supported by other research and development instruments dedicated to Our Lady.

Founded on July 16, 1985, the Marian Academy nurtures among its associate members a Marian spirituality that fosters a Christian life, by turning its activities not only into a deep contemplation of the mystery of God, effected through Mary, but also distributing the fruits of its work to the brothers and sisters in faith and hope.

Currently, it is under the direction of Redemptorist Missionary Father Cesar Moreira, and under the presidency of the Archbishop of Aparecida, Dom Orlando Brandes.
